About

Imilolozelo NPC (formerly IKhambi Writers Hub) is a Non-Profit Company that strives to preserve indigenous languages through implementing various literary arts projects that promote rural community development and youth empowerment.

Founder's Biography

Kwazi Ndlangisa is an award-winning South African poet and visual artist from KwaZulu-Natal. Through his work, he has established a sense of connection to his spiritual culture, receiving significant recognition as a recipient of the Sol Plaatje European Union Poetry Award, the South African Literary Award, and being named among the Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans.

He is best known for fusing isiZulu poetry with lullabies, as well as integrating poetry and visual art.

Ndlangisa is the author of the award-winning poetry chapbook Collecting Self and the children’s book Vukani Kusile. His work has been featured in iMbiza Journal for African Writing, the Sol Plaatje European Union Poetry Anthology, Unmute: Poetry Africa Anthology, New Coin Poetry, and other publications.

Ndlangisa’s debut into visual arts in February 2026 through IMilayezo KaSithunya spiritually themed poetry in art exhibition not only showcases his multi-artistic talent but also brings his poetry to life.

His writings and paintings explore themes of identity, spirituality, and Africanism. Beyond writing, he is also an editor, translator, and voice-over artist.

Ndlangisa is the Founder and Managing Director of IMilolozelo NPC, formerly known as IKhambi Writers Hub, a creative hub that curates literary arts programmes promoting indigenous languages, rural youth development, and an inclusive community of creatives.
